34 Top Criminals Netted in an Operation Swoop

Police at Central Police Station Kampala has on July 25th, 2023, conducted a successful operation resulting in the arrest of 34 individuals suspected of being part of criminal gangs operating in the Central Business District. 

The gangs have been involved in various criminal activities, including vandalism of parked and moving motor vehicles, snatching of phones, pickpocketing, and other offenses.

ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy PRO KMP says, "the arrested suspects are currently in custody at the Central Police Station Kampala, where investigations are underway. The operation remains ongoing, and the public will be informed of any further progress in due course."
