395 UPDF Officers Promoted To Higher Ranks

His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uganda and Commander in Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces has promoted 382 and confirmed 13 Senior and Junior officer Ranks of the UPDF.

 To on the list is one Colonel to the rank of Brigadier General, four Acting Colonels to full Colonel rank.

18 Lieutenant Colonels are now Colonels while five Acting Lieutenant Colonel have been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel .

Other promotions are 61  Majors to Lieutenant Colonels, Two Acting Major to  Major, Captain to Major  92, Acting Captain to Captain 02 and and 210 officers have been promoted from the rank of Lieutenant to Captain.
