An 8-Year Female Juvenile Kidnapped On Her Way From School In Nakaseke District.

The Territorial joint security agencies in Savanah region are investigating a case of alleged Kidnap of Aikolu Patricia the eight year old female juvenile and a pupil at Ngoma Church of Uganda Primary school, Kasambya  village Ngoma Town Council in Nakaseke District that happened on 21/3/2024.

Preliminary information indicates that on 21/3/2024, the victim   travelled to school with her father Taban Vincent for schooling.

At 1:00pm Aikolu and her two fellow children of the same class P1 Were   released to proceed to their respective homes as usual for lunch, Unfortunately while on their way at Kasambya village Aikolu was convinced by a strange  man that she should go and chess the chicken with that man, in that process the  suspect gave shs2000 to the  two other boys who were with the victim, while the  suspect entered in the bush with the victim Aikolu.

The two colleagues waited for Aikolu in vain who later  reported to Aikolu's  parents who also reported to chairman lC1 that mobilized village members  to search for the victim, unfortunately they couldn't get any promising result.

On receiving the information, a team of area police officers visited the crime scene and documented it and efforts to trace the victim by the joint security forces are in place and have suspect arrested. 

''We have meanwhile established that the victim Aikolu was staying with her Dad plus the step mother, her biological mother, separated with the father and efforts to get her on phone went futile as she could not pick any phone call''. sais ASPTwiineamazima Sam the Savannah region police spokesperson.

 Police are suspicious that she could be aware of the whereabouts of the victim and Collaborative efforts are in place to get her recovered. Adeded Twiineamazima.
