Deputy Speaker of parlianment Rt.Hon Thomas Tayebwa has asked Clerk to Parliament to expunge remarks by Busia Municipality Member of Parliament Hon Geoffrey Macho who accused the National Unity Platform (NUP)of tribalism.

Hon Macho stood on the flow of the house and alleged that most of the MPs appointed in latest Opposition leadership are from buganda region. 

 The National Unity Platform Deputy Secretary General also Butambala district woman MP Hon Aisha Kabanda asked to take disciplinary action against her collegue Macho saying that he his playing a traible card with the intention to malign the opposition

Kabanda clarified that their cabinet is well balanced with all the regions in the country represented 

 In the recent opposition cabinet reshufle Nakawa West legislator Joel Ssenyonyi stepped into the esteemed position of Leader of the Opposition (LOP) in Parliament, taking over from Mathias Mpuuga, while Mpuuga, in turn, assumes the mantle previously held by Francis Zaake as a parliamentary commission.
