Boss Fatally Attacked by Workers Due to Salary Delays

The Luwero District Territorial Police are actively investigating a gruesome murder that transpired on August 9th, 2023, at around 11:30 AM in Namakofu Village, Bububi Parish, Zirobwe Subcounty, Luwero District.

The victim has been identified as Kyayagade Yudah, a 47-year-old individual. Preliminary findings reveal that Mr. Kyayagade Yudah, a native of Zirobwe Town Council, Luwero District, was tragically killed by his employees at his farm located in Namakofu Village, Bububi Parish, Zirobwe Subcounty, Luwero District. It is alleged that the motive behind this heinous act was their demand for overdue salaries.

Upon receiving information from Mr. Kenneth Kamutsya, the local area councilor, the police promptly responded to the incident. A murder case was swiftly registered, and the crime scene was carefully examined and documented by the Scene of Crime Officers (SOCO). Several objects, including machetes suspected to have been used in the crime, were discovered and collected as evidence. A detailed sketch plan of the scene was prepared for investigative purposes.

"The victim's body was transported to the Mulago City Mortuary for a thorough postmortem examination to shed light on the exact cause of death. Although no arrests have been made at this time, a relentless pursuit of the assailants has been initiated to bring them to justice," ASP TwiineAmazima Sam, the Public Relations Officer for the Savannah Region Police noted.
