Fallen NRM Boss Hailed For His Uncompromising Character.

Former Prime Minister,Dr Ruhakana Rugunda and National Resistance Movement Central Executive Committee members have consoled the bereaved family of the late, Hon. Simon Peter Aleper at Parliament who died at the age of 49.

"Hon. Aleper Simon Peter, you fought a good fight and won. May your soul rest in perfect peace as God protects your dear family. Rest in peace, Simon!" The Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Anita Among.

The Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa has priaised the Late Aleper for his contibution to his country. ''He(Aleper) served his party- NRM with dedication and supported the implementation of government programs irrespective of where they were located''.He stated.

He said the late Aleper was very vocal about Karamoja affairs and a good mobiliser. “He worked hard to ensure that children from Karamoja are off the streets of Kampala.”
