Fisherman Found Dead in a Septic Tank.

According to the police report filed at Koome Police Station, Aweko Aisha, a 28-year-old housewife and resident of Zingoola Fishing Village, discovered the unconscious body of her son, Ojere Joshua, lying in the septic tank at approximately 3:00 PM. Aisha immediately raised the alarm and sought help from the local community.

Authorities swiftly responded to the distress call and rushed the victim to Mukono General Hospital for emergency medical treatment. However, despite their efforts, young Joshua could not be revived, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Investigations conducted by the police have revealed that the septic tank, located within the fishing camp at Zingoola Fishing Village, was left completely uncovered, posing a severe threat to the safety of the community. The incident has led to the opening of a case file for rash or negligent acts causing death.

The primary suspect in the case is identified as Lumala William, along with other individuals. Their involvement in the negligence surrounding the uncovered septic tank is under investigation.
