Uganda Police Thanked for Providing Security in Bukedea By-Election

Uganda Police Force has been thanked for the security in provided during the conduction of the By-elections held in Bukedea District. 

Police conducted peaceful by-elections in Bukedea where, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party flag-bearer Mary Akol was declared the winner of the Bukedea Districr LC5 by-election.
The Electoral Commission returning officer for Bukedea District, Joel Mugenyi Mugerwa declared Akol the winner for the seat that fell vacant In December 2022 after the passing on of the incumbent. NRM won with a land slide victory yesterday.
