The President Promotes 1600 Police Officers
President Yoweri Museveni, who is also the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces has promoted and appointed 1638 gazetted police officers.
The officers have risen to the ranks of Senior Commissioner of Police SCP, Commissioner of Police CP, Assistant Commissioner of Police ACP, Senior Superintendent of Police SSP, Superintendent of Police SP and Assistant Superintendent of Police ASP.
