Heavy Down Pour partially sunk in Kampala -Masaka Highway, Police Diverts Traffic.

The Directorate of Traffic and Road safety informs the general public that the road in between Kyengera and Budo Junction along Kampala -Masaka Highway has partially sunk in due to heavy rains this morning. 

Police have advised road users to use the alternative routes like for Motorists from Kampala to Masaka had to use Nakawuka road -Budo junction or Kitemu to access Kampala-Masaka highway.

Alternatively they had to use Mityana road - Buloba-Nsangi to access Kampala-Masaka Highway.

For Motorists from Masaka to Kampala, had to use Kitemu or Budo- Nakawuka to access Kampala and Nsangi -Buloba - Mutyaba road to access Kampala.

Police have  appealed to the public to exercise the utmost discipline and patience as the teams from Traffic Police and UNRA assess the damage caused on this road.
