Joshua Cheptegei Wins Gold Medal Setting New Olympic Record.

ASP Joshua Cheptegei has won a gold medal with a time of 26:43.14 in the 10,000meter race.

Cheptegei's dramatic final lap sealed his gold medal after beating ethiopian Berrihu Aregawi who went away with bronze and American Grant Fisher who got Silver medal.

Many Ugandans have congratulated Chetegei for winning the Gold medal for the earl of Africa  

The first Lady  and minister of Education and sorts Hon Janet Kataha Museveni has raised Chetegei for bring Gold medal home.
