Museveni’s Ministers Angry with Arrests of Colleagues

President Museveni's Ministers are annoyed with their boss over the arrests and shame being made on their colleagues by arresting one by one.
This development comes after the second Minister has been arrested in connection with the karamoja iron sheets scandal.

State Minister for finance Amos Lugolobi becomes the second Minister to be arrested after the arrest of Gorret Kitutu the Minister in charge of karamoja was arrested last week and remanded to Luzira on the same karamoja ironsheets scandal.

"We are really  angry and annoyed with our Boss the president over how he has started arresting and shaming our colleagues before the public as if we haven't been doing good things to this government,"says some Ministers who asked not to be named.

Our sources also revealed how Minister for ICT and National Guidance Chris Baryomunsi was denied access to see his arrested colleague Lugolobi at Kira Rd police station last night immediately after he was arrested.
Our sources added that the anger by Museveni's Ministers comes after establishing that their colleagues implicated in the karamoja ironsheets scandal will all be arrested and are all leaving in fear.

Really all our colleagues who took  ironsheets meant for karamoja are now leaving in fear that they are all going to be arrested and taken to Luzira when actually the ironsheets that they took were given to needy people in their constituencies,"says another Minister.

Our sources added that Minister Baryomunsi was denied access to the arrested colleague in a company of kayunga woman member of parliament Aidah Nantaba, who is also a former Minister in Museveni government and kayunga NRM chair person Karangwa.

Unconfirmed reports are being circulated that another  Minister of State for karamoja in the office of prime Minister one Agnes Nandutu has gone into hiding after getting information that she is also among the Ministers to be arrested by police and sent to Luzira prison.

Investigating bodies which include parliament, police, DPP , State House anti corruption unit recommend that Over 22 Museveni Ministers be arrested and prosecuted for karamoja ironsheets scandal.

However Ugandans also want to see big shots like vice president, RTD Maj Jesca Alupo,  speaker of parliament Rt Hon Anita Amongi, prime Minister Rt Hon Nabanja be arrested and aligned in courts of law because they all received the iron sheets.

Kayunga residents have threatened to walk to the State House and deliver a petetion to the president saying it he should release their member of parliament or arrest whoever took the ironsheets. "President Museveni should release our member of parliament or arrest whoever recieved the ironsheets,"says kayunga residents.

Recently the office of Director of public prosecution (DPP) said that they are investigating many people in the rocket of ironsheets scandal saying that they will be arresting one by one according to the evidence that will be on their files.
