NRM MP Loses shs 700M In Fake Gold Deal

Shock, fear and tension has made a Member of Parliament from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) to go into hiding after realising that she was conned shs 700m in a fake gold deal, Spyreports has exclusively learnt.
The NRM MP who has not been seen anywhere since she learnt that the deal was hot air has been identified as Hon Chekurut Rose Emma who represents women of Kween District in the Parliament of Uganda.
According to the information, we have also established from her close friends, she lost the money to her fellow MP identified as Hon Fadil Twalla who represents Tingey County in Kapurchrwa District. He is also from NRM.
Information which reached our news desk indicates that three to four months back, Hon Twalla approached his friend Emma Rose and told her about Gold deal.
Insiders say, Hon Emma Rose trusted him the fact that both MPs hail from Sebbei region. "Hon Emma had no money but the deal was going to have a lot of profits she went to money lenders and borrowed some money to facilitate the deal," says one of her close friends.
The friend adds that Hon Emma only had shs 150m on her bank account and got a loan of shs 600m from money lenders. Insiders from her camp say she put her posh house in Namugongo and her Toyota Land cruiser V8 as security to money lenders to access the money. "She was to pay back the money in short time to avoid too much interests," says another close friend.
The source says after few months, she waited for billions of money from the sale of gold but all in vain. "She started calling Hon Twalla but he could not pick her calls and her heart started panicking," Says another friend. Our sources say she later made her investigations and found out that the gold deal was a total hot air. "She first fainted after learning the deal was never there. Her fears were where to get all that money from and the time of payment was due," Another source from Sebbei region said. "This woman went into hiding to first get relief of this trauma. She can even die, all her phones are off even her family members don't know where to trace for her," reveals one of her close friends. The friend says she has even missed Parliament for close to five months. Another friend says, the money lenders took the car and they are soon evicting people from the house so soon she will be homeless.
When we contacted Mr Chris Obore the Parliamentary spokesperson about her absence in the house he said he was not aware of that. "I am going to find out if it is true that she has missed Parliament for six months and if she asked the permission from the speaker," He said. According to the law if a Member of Parliament misses six months without a reason known to the Speaker, her/ his seat is declared vacant and the EC organises fresh elections.
When we reached Hon Twalla on phone for his side of the story, he completely denied having conned Hon Emma Rose shs 700m in gold deal.
"My brother first and fore most I don't know that information and I have never delt  in gold business and I don't have any knowledge," he says during a night telephone interview. He added he had taken a long time without communicating with Hon Emma. "Ever since we came to this Parliament, we have not talked more than ten times," he says.
According to research we have gathered ,1/4 of our MPs lose their assets to money lenders due to unpaid loans. "Most of the MPs engage in business they have never done with the aim of gaining a lot of profits and they end up losing everything," says a source from Parliament. Recently two MPs were sent to government prisons for failure to pay their loans.
