Police Arrest Re-known Sheikh Umar Over Trafficking 11-Year-Old Girl.

Its alleged that Sheikh Umar pick this young girl whose names withheld when she was only Four years old from his parents- in-law (Biological parents) after with the intention of educating her after the parents has got misunderstandings and separated.

He took the girl to Victorious Schools Mukono branch for the primary section and when the girl reached primary six, the Sheikh started seducing her into sexual intercourse and the juvenile reported the matter to the school matron who also reported the matter to Nansana Police Station.

Sheikh Umar was arrested and Police recorded statements from both the victim and the suspect was charged with aggravated defilement at file number CRB/1193/2023 but later was release on Police bond.

The Victim's father is Sebijwenge Ibrahim and mother Naluwoza Cissy after settling the grievances started to claim back their child from Shiekh Umar but in vain.

Police later contacted the biological parents who accused the Sheikh of denying  them access to their child whenever they contacted him that caused police charging him with aggravated human trafficking.

Preliminary investigations indicate that when the child reached P.7 at the age of 11 years, Sheikh Umar bought her a phone and geared up his intention to harass her sexually but the girl again informed her school matron about the matter who also reported to police in Nansana that re-arrested him and charged with aggravated human trafficking.
