School Director Arrested over Defiling Primary Six Girl

A school director is in Police custody in Luweero to help in investigations in an alledged defilement case that occured between the month of September 2023 and October 2023 in areas of Kakokolo electoral village and in Kikubajinja village in Luweero District.

TwiineAmazima Sam the Savannah Region PRO identified the suspect as Jona Sebamanya the school director of Kings Palace Primary School. "On 25th.10.2023 we regestered a report that 6 pupils had alledgedly been defiled by the suspect and imediately inquiries  commenced. The victims are aged between 13 to 17 years. Relevant statements have been recorded from witnesses," TwiineAmazima said.

Police medical forms were issued to the victims and all were examined. "According to our medical reports it has been established that only 3 pupils aged 17,14 and 15years were sexually abused," TwiineAmazima noted.

All victims are pupils at Kings Palace Primary School in Luweero district and all are p.7 candidates.
"Relevant documents to ascertain the age of the victims are yet to be retrieved by our detectives,
One suspect Ssebamenya Jona is currently held at Luweero CPS as our investigations continue. One other suspect is on run and efforts to have him arrested are on ongoing," he emphasized.
