Step Father Remanded Over Defiling A 14 Year Old Girl.

The Criminal Investigations Directorate have detained a 50 year old man on charges of defiling his 14 year old step daughter .

It's said that, On September 30, 2024, Nakisuyi Zukah, a 40-year-old businesswoman from Bweya, Kajjansi, reported a defilement case involving her 14-year-old daughter whose names are withheld and Mwizerwa Ali, a 50-year-old resident of Bweya Kajjansi suspected defiler and the victim's stepfather.  

It is alleged that he committed the offence between May and September 2024.

 Investigations were initiated and the suspect was subsequently arrested by Kajjansi police.

On October 11, the Director ofpublic Prosecutions (DPP) sanctioned the case file, leading to the suspect's appearance before the chief magistrate’s court on charges of aggravated defilement on that day, where he is currently remanded in custody.
