Stray Bullet Injures Boda Boda Rider, Shooter Arrested

A boda boda rider identified as Okulu Deo was on Tuesday morning shot by a stray bullet while at city oil petrol station, Martin road, old Kampala.

According to Patrick Onyango the KMP Spokesperson, the incident was as a result of an exchange between security guard attached to SGA Security Company and a taxi conductor.

The guard had refused the latter to park at the fuel station leading to a small scuffle where the taxi conductor punched the security guard. As a result the guard coached his gun and by the time he fired, the taxi had left injuring Okulu Deo's thigh, a boda boda rider.

Onyango said, "the injured rider has been taken to Mulago Hospital for treatment whereas the guard is being detained at Old Kampala police station."
