UPDF Kills Two Top ADF Rebels, Rescues Seven Abductees in Congo

UPDF and it's Joint security forces FARDC yesterday killed two top commanders in a fiece fight with the ADF rebels in Congo.  Maj Bilal Katamba the UPDF mountain brigade spokesperson confirmed the killing in a statement.

Maj Bilal Katamba also revealed that two other ADF Commanders surrendered themselves yesterday  to the to the UPDF's 3rd division battalion headquarters at kasindi North Kivu in Congo. "Our joint forces yesterday killed  two ADF Commanders after a fiece fighting with them Mwalika valley and also managed to recover two sub machine guns (2 SMG), 15 rounds of ammunition and a radio walkie talkie," says Maj Bilal Katamba.

The mountain brigade spokesperson added that in the same fiece fighting, UPDF and FARDC rescued seven abductees from the rebels and are currently kept at the joint forces sector headquarters awaiting evacuation and subsequent rehabilitation process."we wish to encourage all ADF rebels who would wish to surrender to the joint forces to use earliest opportunity and report to any joint forces operating within the vicinity,"adds Maj Bilal Katamba.
