UBOS, NEC Uzima Pattern Ahead Of Census

The Uganda National Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) the independent body responsible for carrying out National population and Housing Census in Uganda every after 10 years has patterned with National Enterprise Cooperation (NEC) the producer of Uzima Natural Mineral water to work together to ensure good quality census come 10th May 2024.

The partnership was sealed today at NEC head offices in Bugolobi a Kampala suburb. UBOS was represented by Deputy Executive Director Mr Godfrey Nabongo and was accampaned by Head Communication officer Mr Didacus Okoth and other staffs while NEC Uzima was represented by General Manager Maj Edgar Ankwas, Lt Pius Mutatina aka PK who works as head Marketing.

The two entities discussed areas of collaboration in the co- branding of Uzima Natural Mineral water with population census messages to increase awareness among the population and build trust, confidence in the National population exercise.

According to Maj Edgar Ankwasa, NEC Uzima serves a range of clientele ranging from Government Ministries, Departments, Agencies and to the private sector and general public across the Country. "Because of its top quality, affordability and accessibility, it was recognised as the best Natural Mineral water in Uganda by people choice awards 2023," Says Maj.Edgar.

He adds that NEC Uzima participation in the Census 2024 will contribute greatly towards cementing interdepartmental linkages and synergies between the two Organisations.

NEC Uzima is a subsidiary company of the National Enterprise corporation (NEC) which is involved in the production of bottled Natural Mineral water under the brand name Uzima Natural Mineral Water
