'Am Unsure That Police Can Investigate Itself '- Bobi Wine Vows Never To Make Statement At Police.

The National Unity Platform President Robert Kyavulanyi Ssentamu has vowed never to heed to police's plea on recording statement that can aid in investigating the circumstances that led to his injuries and some police officers at Bulindo trading center Kira municipality Wakiso district.

He was addressing media and his supporters at his residence at Magere in kamwokya where he said that he won’t cooperate to offer a statement, as he is unsure if the Police could investigate itself and hold its men to account especially that none of those responsible has been arrested yet.

He also disregarded claims by Uganda Human Rights Commission Chairperson Mariam Wangadya that the commission had approaching him for any  statements.

"The regime rewards the notorious men in uniform like Frank Mwesigwa, Enock Abaine and others who have afflicted harm on civilians".Stated Kyagulanyi.

He explains that the rewarded fellas are those who met violence on those opposed to the regime.

He has however applauded his supporters all over the world for the messages of solidarity and love in wake of the Bulindo incident.

"The political leaders, religious leaders and citizens raised their voices to condemn the violence and all rights abuses". He added

" All the involved policemen are to be sued in their individual capacity". Kyagulanyi vowed.

Bobi Wine recounts some of the incidents where he has escaped death citing the Arua incident where he lost his driver Yasin Kawuuma, the election violence where he survived a canister in Kayunga that injured some of his aides, the direct bullets fired at his vehicle in Jinja, and the several incidents where he has cheated death.
