EX - KCCA Bosses Sleep In Police Coolers Over Kiteezi Saga

Three sacked former KCCA bosses will have to spend in police coolers at least 48 hours before they are charged in courts of law and be remanded to Luzira prison where they will also spend some weeks enjoying the cool breeze of Lake Victoria.

The trio who included Former KCCA Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka, her deputy Dr David Luyimbazi and Director Health and Environment Dr Daniel Okello.

They were summoned on Monday to appear today for their statements. According to highly placed sources at CID in Kibuli, they came at around mid day. "Security was so tight to the extent that some staffs were blocked to access the premises," says a security source adding that the media were stopped far meters away from CID premises.

"When they came, they were well welcomed, sat briefly and they were taken to grilling rooms," said another investigator. He said each was grilled separately for close to six hours unstop. "It was a marathon of grilling and the grillers were more smart and ready without any fighting and the excise ended well," says another Source.

The source adds that after grilling each suspect was sweating plasma, and asked some water to cool their hot bodies which was provided as they waited for the next course of action.

The source says to their surprise, they were informed that their detention orders were ready signed and their cooling places in different police cells were ready. "Our dear guests this is to inform you that you are not going back to your respective homes. You are still our visitors until you are told to leave by our superiors," a source quoted a police officer giving them news updates.

The officer told them to inform their people who can bring them what they could need. We later asked Police Spokesperson ACP Kitumwa Rusoke who who completed our evening by confirming the detention news of his former Bosses.

"Its true the three former KCCA bosses have been detained after several grilling at CID and will be arraigned before courts of law," Seals Kitumwa.
