Mpologoma Clan Head Laid To Rest Two Weeks After His Demise
The Mpologoma(Lion) clan head Wilson Ndawula Namuguzi Ssebuganda has been laid to rest in Nansana Municipality, two weeks after his death.
Namuguzi's burial was delayed following a land dispute involving Maj Gen Elly Kayanja, who had insisted that part of the clan's ancestral land was leased to him by Buganda Land Board.
Namuguzi died on August 14 and he has been buried on August 31 at the traditional Mpologoma clan headquarters in Lwadda Village-Matugga, Nansana in Wakiso District.
The clan head has been buried in 168 backcloths as a sign of respect from the subjects in Buganda culture.
Before the burial of Wilson Ndaula, the new Clan head Erukaana Lukanga has been installed .
He has been introduced tho the clan members by Kireega Patrick Kisekwa Ddungu the Lion clan premier.
