Merciless Woman Arrested over Murdering her Daughter for Performing Poorly at School.

Detectives attached to Mayuge police station are holding a mercilessly woman on allegations of torturing her six year old niece that resulted into murder for performing poorly at school. The mercilessly woman has been identified as Aisha Byogero a female adult and as resident of Busakila Subcounty in Mayuge District. Police had also identified the tortured girl who later died as Mutesi Mariam 6 years whom she has been staying with. The incident happened on 19.07.2023 at around 6pm. Fred Enanga the police mouthpiece told us that the merciless woman who was staying with the girl, punished her after coming from the school accusing her of performing poorly at her school and class. Enanga added that the girl cried for help and rescued by neighbors. But she was shortly pronounced dead at the nearby clinic upon arrival. "As police and security, we continue to remind the public that torture and aggressive punishments of children are punished by law, therefore all parents and guardians are advised to desist from corporal punishments and other forms of physical punishments,"says Enanga.
