Two Die In Masaka-Mbarara Road Accidents

At least two people have died in a fatal crash on the 25th October, 2024 at Kasagirwa along Masaka-Mbarara Highway involving motor vehicles KCL 438X/ZF 7093 M/Benz loaded with fuel and UBK 576N F/Fighter.

According to preliminary reports, the driver of the M/ Benz trailer lost control, resulting in a head-on collision with the oncoming Fuso Fighter.

 Tragically, the driver and turn man of the Fuso Fighter succumbed to their injuries instantly.

" The road is currently temporarily blocked due to the crash; however, diversions have been put in place to facilitate traffic flow".Traffic Police spokesperson Micheal Kananura confirmed.

-Scene has been secured and efforts are underway to remove the vehicles as investigation into the cause of the crash has been launched. He added .
