UBOS Urges Government Agencies Communications Officers To Give A Helping Hand In Statistical Information Dissemination
Uganda Beaurea of Statistics (UBOS) has launched an Africa Statistics week 2024 with a call to government agencies help in spreading statistical information to the final consumers
Betty Nawooza the acting head of media and public relations added that they have decided to engage Capacity building cources to government agencies communicators in capacity building to effectively disseminate UBOS statistics to the public.
"The way you relay your information gives communication a perspective. Be mindful of the way you present information".She noted.
However, she noted that there is still a challenge on the resource envelop to train over 300 agencies communicators
Luke Owesigyire the deputy spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson noted that Street Cameras have done a tremendous role in curbing crime in the urban centers .
