Grief As Four Family Members Found Dead In A House

A devastating incident has shaken the community in Masanda cell, Kyengera Town Council, Wakiso District, where a family of four was found dead in their single room.

 The victims have been identified as Nyanzi Simon, a 40-year-old boda boda rider, and his three children: Kabanda Pius (8), Priscilla (7), and Praise (2). On November 15, 2024, concerned neighbors noticed that Nyanzi Simon hadn't opened his door, and his young children were not left with their caretaker as usual.

Upon investigation, they found the door closed but unlocked and discovered the four family members lying on a bed, fully dressed but suspected to be dead.

The neighbors quickly alerted other residents and the area chairman, who reported the incident to the police.

 Police responded promptly, collecting statements from witnesses and transporting the bodies to Mulago City Mortuary for postmortem examination.

Investigations are ongoing, with no suspected substances found at the scene. Notably, Nyanzi Simon's mobile phone was recovered, but all contacts had been deleted.

 The mother of the victims is currently working abroad in Arab countries.
