Stolen Uganda Police Vehicle Recovered From Kenya
The Uganda Police working together with Kenya Police have recovered the stolen police vehicle single cabinet pickup parked in one of the areas in Kenya.
This followed the information received by Ugandan Police about the theft of the above Uganda Police Motor Vehicle Registration number UP 00135from kampala yesterday morning.
At around 1830/c of 7th July 2024 Busia police was given coordinates of the location in Kenya where it was parked by command center.
In coordination with Kenya police, DPC Busia and team recovered it at round 2230/c in an area near Mumiasi road in Kenya.
It's currently parked at Busia Kenya police station to be handed over to Busia Uganda police station tomorrow morning.
One Kenyan female suspect has been arrested to help in the investigation. Said police spokesperson Kituume Rusoke.
He further clarified that the officer Vehicle of the Inspector General of Police is secure and never stolen as opposed to what was published by some media platforms.
