Military last night raided the home of National unity platform NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobiwine and arrested all his security guards and other home workers without any explanation.
The arrest came while Bobiwine was conducting an interview with a Kenyan radio station Hot96 FM .
While on air, he abruptly told his hosts Jeff Koinange and Professor Hammo that he had to go stating the military had stormed his compound.
Bobiwine said through his Twitter page handle that the army raided his home, arrested all his security guards and anyone they could see around his premises adding that no reason for the arrest was given.
BobWine further stressed that if he becomes to the president of Uganda, he will put to an end Museveni’s 35 years of “dictatorship and ruling using the gun”.
He added that such acts of impunity are all kicks of a dying horse. However by press time, we couldn’t get a comment from security as efforts to reach them were futile.
