Police in Kabale is holding 69 Foreigners over of illegal entry in country using short cuts, Fifty Rwandese and nineteen Congolese.

The Kigezi Regional Police Spokesperson Elly Mate confirmed the arrests of the said Foreigners saying that they are  going to face the law.

“We intercepted 13 foreigners on January 4th 2021 and also arrested other 56 were picked from a bus stop while heading to Bunyoro,”Says Mate.

” We shall not allow and tolerance these acts of free entry and exit as if we don’t have policies in the country ” added Mate.

The government of Uganda is against illegal entries of foreigners and asks whoever coming to Uganda to possess a negative covid19 results certificate..
